To me, design is creating clarity, not just aesthetics. It’s taking our ideas, systems, and products and shaping them in a way that others can immediately get them and then connect.

I was introduced to this notion early on, when my high-school art teacher recognized my eye and encouraged me to take design seriously. Since then, it’s become the way I think and live. At my core, I value discipline, culture, and presence. These qualities shape how I engage with our world, whether that’s through running, painting, speaking, or designing. I’m drawn to the balance between those high-energy moments and the quieter ones that follow. That’s the space where our ideas sharpen and the right decisions get made. In those moments, we figure out the perfect copy for that pitch deck slide or find the best ideas for that brainstorm meeting. This all carries into how I work. I thrive in environments where thoughtful output is paired with strong communication, and where a balanced goal brings a great team together.
